Singapore Civil Defense Force Collect Funds For West Sumatra

SINGAPORE, TimeIsNews.com - Several organizations in Singapore collecting donations for victims of the earthquake in West Sumatra, Channel News Asia said on Friday.

Lil Alamin Rahmatan Foundation with support from the mosques in Singapore, collecting donations at Friday prayers, while the Ashoka Association 3500 Singapore encourages its members to charity in Tampines, Telok Blangah and Bukit Panjang, Sunday.

All proceeds donated by two religious organizations that will be channeled through Mercy Relief are four activists had been in the Valley for a week humanitarian mission.

CIMB (a bank of Malaysia) Singapore branch held a “CIMB The Star Padang Relief Fund”.

The program is campaigning for customers and the public in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia to support funding for the restoration of the hit West Sumatra earthquake measuring 7.6 on the Richter scale on Wednesday (30/9) afternoon.
